The International Chamber Music Festival of San Miguel de Allende celebrated its 35 season this year under the guidance and artistic direction of Alejandro Escuer, this musical event has conquered new frontiers: Mr. Escuer’s curating included baroque, contemporary and classical music performed by Grammy award winners Enso String Quartet, Parker String Quartet, Gryphon Trío, La Fontegara, Tembembé, among other acclaimed ensembles.
Luminico Awarded Competitive Grant
Lumínico was awarded a highly competitive grant from El Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes to compose and produce contemporary music for planetariums. The project has the support and endorsement of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras of Morelia Michoacán
12th Graduating Class of Delfos Danza's School (EPDM)
July 16, 2013 marked the graduation of the twelfth generation of dance students of EPDM (Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlán). The talented ten dance graduates performed works by Victor Manuel Ruiz, Omar Carrum and Michael Foley in a program entitled Wings to Fly at the Angela Peralta Theater.
