Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes

Life is a Dream (La Vida es Sueño) will continue its run in Mexico City at Teatro El Galeon through August 31, 2014, Friday-Sunday.

Life is a Dream performance their at the Muestra Nacional de Teatro in Monterrey, Mexico in November of 2014, exact date to be announced.

Delfos Danza Contemporanea

Claudia Lavista and Omar Carrum, of Delfos Danza Contemporánea will be in residence at Smith College this fall teaching and creating a new work commissioned by Smith College Dance Department and by the Boston Conservatory Dance division in the fall of 2014.

Delfos Danza Contemporánea and Spanish dance company La Intrusa will present their collaboration Sparring Sky at the Teatro de la Ciudad in México City November 14-16, 2014.  

Delfos Danza Contemporánea will perform their nationally acclaimed production of Rite of Spring, at the Oc Ohtic Festival in Mérida Yucatán-México on Tuesday, November 2, 2014.

Onix  Ensamble and Luminico

MINIMALISM MAXIMUS: ONIX Ensamble under the Artistic lead of Alejandro Escuer is working on a program dedicated to  north continental Minimalism by Canadian, US, and Mexican composers. The program will feature major works by Steve Reich, Steve Montague, Michael Torke, Jan Jarvlepp, and a World premiere by  Felipe Pérez Santiago. The concert will be ready for touring from December 2014 on.

ONIX Ensamble is working on a Mexico-UK program dedicated to the Mexico-UK year (2015) for a tour in Mexico and the UK. The program includes premieres of dedicated works to ONIX by such composers as Michael Nyman, Mathew Adkins, Víctor Ibarra, Mario Lavista and Marc Estiberio.   

LUMÍNICO, the soloist project of flute, electronics and video has successfully presented a full program dedicated to critical and philosophical views on the creation of frontiers and political barriers that affect human ends: FRONTERAS/LÍMITES. It is ready to tour and presents sounds and images from south and north of the border between Mexico and the US. It includes the participation of guest artist from Mexico (Iván Manzanilla, percussion) and  US cellist Pete Jacobson. Music by Jorge Verdin (NORTEC), Guillermo Galindo (Mexico-US), Alejandro Escuer, Rodrigo Sigal, Felipe Perez et al.
